Czech parking apps — which one to use
Four apps cover paid parking in Czech cities. Here is what works where — and what a visitor should install.
EasyPark — best if you already drive in Europe
EasyPark operates in 22 European countries and connects to the official systems of Prague and other Czech cities. If you already use it at home, it will work here too — enter the zone code from the street sign, pick a duration, done. Note: EasyPark adds a small service fee on top of the parking fee.
ParkSimply — the Czech standard
ParkSimply is the official partner of dozens of Czech cities (Brno, Ostrava, Plzeň, Olomouc, České Budějovice and more). Free download, pay by card or Apple/Google Pay, extend or cancel remotely. If you plan to park in several Czech cities, this is the one to install.
PID Lítačka — Prague's own system
Prague's official app (also used for public transport tickets). Pay for visitor parking zones directly, or use the web payment at platba.parkujvpraze.cz without installing anything.
SEJF — the alternative
A Czech payment app that also handles parking in a number of cities. Less common among visitors; works fine if you already have it.
Quick recommendation
- Visiting Prague only: pay via
platba.parkujvpraze.cz(no install) or EasyPark. - Road-tripping across Czechia: install ParkSimply.
- Already using EasyPark at home: keep using it — it works in most Czech cities.
Always check the street sign for the zone code and paid hours. The sign and the official app are what counts. Updated: August 2026.
